Natalie also brainstorms content ideas and writes bylines on behalf of executives about technical topics including cybersecurity, data science, and financial services. She has worked with influencers to secure media, social, and blog post opportunities. Natalie has also written social media content for Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin.
Before Inkhouse, Natalie Mangan was a communications coordinator at Stripe providing internal communications and administrative support to the communications team. She vetted inbound media inquiries and answered PR-related questions sent to Stripe’s #pr Slack channel. She also reviewed speaking opportunities and third-party vendor logo requests. Natalie partnered with many of the product, sales, and marketing teams at Stripe to source unique and innovative users for media and speaking opportunities. In 3 months, she found more than 35 global users who were willing to be publicly referenced.
Before Stripe, Natalie was a global communications coordinator at Dolby Laboratories. She focused on PR initiatives for three Dolby technologies including Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby AC-4. Using strategic media research and TrendKite to develop key insights, Natalie helped guide the PR strategy of numerous campaigns including Dolby’s first thought leadership program. In addition to media relations, Natalie created bylines, FAQs, and press releases with leading consumer electronics brands and Hollywood studios including Lionsgate, LG, Paramount, Sony, and VIZIO. She has also helped plan and coordinate events and demos to further educate and enable reporters to experience Dolby’s technologies.
Prior to Dolby, Natalie was a business development coordinator at Highwire Public Relations. She supported the senior leadership team across Highwire's four offices and helped the agency create creative proposals and pitches for leading technology startups and well-known brands. Natalie also drove proactive lead generation outreach through targeted email campaigns and blogs. She also assisted in sourcing new prospects that aligned with Highwire's values and business goals.
Natalie also has agency public relations experience at MSL in San Francisco where she worked on five client teams for enterprise and consulting clients. During this internship, Natalie held briefings with reporters from the New York Post and the Chicago Tribune and helped facilitate client coverage in the LA School Report.
Natalie has experience filming and editing video packages for Oregon Athletics and assisting in sports production for the Pac-12 Networks.
Natalie’s drive and passion to succeed have led her to win multiple awards for her effort and commitment. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor of science in public relations and a minor in business administration.
