As a global communications coordinator, Natalie supported media relations, event planning, and strategic communications initiatives for three Dolby technologies including Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby AC-4. Dolby Vision (an HDR technology) and Dolby Atmos (immersive audio) are often found in consumer electronics including TVs, sound bars, AVRs, PCs, mobile devices, gaming consoles, and 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. Dolby AC-4 is an audio format for next-generation video and audio entertainment services, including broadcast and internet streaming. She led daily coverage monitoring and composed recaps summarizing coverage and media sentiment about Dolby's technologies, competitors, notable industry events, and trade shows. These recaps were shared internally with Dolby executives and the teams working on the products.
For media relations, she created pitches, drafted responses for inbound media requests, and created briefing materials and media lists for outreach. In addition, she successfully planned and executed numerous media events and demos at Dolby's SF headquarters and offsite. She also worked on numerous partner press releases announcing new products and services featuring Dolby technologies, Q&As, and blog posts and managed relationships with multiple Hollywood studios for press releases announcing movies coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray.
