Social Media Audit: Hey Good Cookin'

Issue: For this project, my group was assigned a real client, Hey Good Cookin', a brand for the single lifestyle and cooking for one. The company was using social media, but not effectively. The brand needed help attracting more users to register on its newly updated website.

Strategy: We conducted a social media audit and began monitoring conversations on Twitter, blogs and other websites to see what single cooks were talking about. The monitoring on Twitter started by using hashtags including #cookingforone and #singlescooking. We also analyzed the company's various social platforms including Facebook and Twitter and looked at the data to understand key insights about posting time, demographics and other important information. For this project, I monitored blogs for specific keywords. I also helped create the three objectives, corresponding strategies and tactics for the client. In addition, I helped create a three-month editorial calendar for potential website ideas. 

Outcome: After we created this slide deck and presented it to our client, they were extremely greatful for all of our efforts. Three months after the class ended, they emailed us asking if we would want to help them brainstorm more social media ideas.
